review: In 2020, boxing is no longer participated by humans. Instead, robots will fight in the ring. A former boxer Charlie Kenton tries to find a good robot after he finds out his wife died and he had lost twice. When he decided to look for parts in the junkyard, his 11 year old son, Max Kenton finds a dumped robot Atom and says he could be a good candidate however Charlie did not agree with him. But Max decided that Atom could so he restored him and he had won many rounds to WRB (World Robot Boxing). And for the final proof that Atom is good, he had to fight the undefeatable WRB champion, Zeus

I'll start by saying that, yes this movie uses many ideas and themes that have been used in previous movies. Yes, this movie is a little cheesy in the fact that it uses the cliché man down on his luck success story. However, with that said I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I've never been a Hugh Jackman fan nor have a been a Spielberg fan, but I stand by the fact that the film was really well written and produced.
That being said I'm a firm believer in not buying into reviews and usually like to come to conclusions on my own. I encourage others to do the same, but I will say that most who see this movie will probably not be disappointed. Watch real steel free online.

Yes, I agree with the critics, its the regular Hollywood fare, the kid was slightly annoying, yes, but wasn't he supposed to be like his dad, genetically annoying? And he has been tossed around and he is angry, so I think what they were showing was correct. Thats why in the end he is sweeter and more like a normal kid.
The movie is a lot like rocky, the strength of the underdog. And THE best part of the whole thing is - ITS REALISTIC.
The robots are super cool. When I say it like this, I know, if I were to read this, I would just think, Oh, that guy is some robot freak. I myself am surprised! They never overdo it, and they keep showing us different different robots. And I think the best part is, the robots don't talk. A big relief. br> This is also a great KIDS MOVIE. Much better than the many Disney movies that had come out this year. The kid is involved throughout and has as much presence as Hugh Jackman.
There is a good morale weaved in. In the beginning we see Jackman having good and powerful robots, but he never has any respect for them, because he has no respect for himself. And like all regular adults he is just money minded, and just can't see the greater beauty. The kid comes and seeing his innocence and positivity, like all normal kids, Jackman starts respecting his life more, and this is so nice to see. br> And it was really nice to see Kate from the Lost TV series. She was perfect as the tough strong girl, preserving her father's legacy. She is sort of the robot mechanic.
Go see it. I promise at the very least, you won't feel as if you wasted your time. br> Cheers.
